Divorce 2:228

It is incumbent that divorced women who possess menses wait before marrying, after the pronouncement of divorce, a waiting period of three cleanings or three menses. This is in order to confirm that the womb is not carrying anything.

It is not permissible for a divorced woman to marry another man until the waiting period is terminated. It is not lawful for her to hide what Allah originated without a similar pattern in the place of the fetus from carrying a child or menses, if the divorced woman submits and trusts in Allah and the Last Day of Standing.

Divorce is frowned upon in Al Islam. Allah has put a special kind of love between the husband and wife for them to grow in tranquility through their mutual relationship with Him. Limited education and income, living together before a commitment to marriage, premarital pregnancy, lack of religious affiliation, and feelings of insecurity are causing high divorce rates. These are signs that the seed of the reading is not impregnating the mind and mercy has been lost thus leaving a residue of pain in families.
