Signs in Nature Point to Signs in Our Emotions 45:5

In the shortening and lengthening of the night and the day, in what G-d causes to come down from the sky, from the gift that induces life in the earth after it has lost life, and in the winds in varying directions, are evidence for men and women who keep up with the true state of affairs.

The cyclical shifts of nature give signs about the soul’s nature for seekers of truth. One example is the winds, which travel in many directions bringing benefit and life on the earth, but also causing destruction when influenced by unbridled force.

Like winds, our emotions serve benefit and are necessary for relating to other souls. But if our emotions are influenced by satan and we are driven by unbridled passion, it can bring destruction to our life and the lives around us.
