Abraham’s Prayer 2-126

And Abraham said, My Lord, establish Mecca as a city of peace and give its faithful occupants with the yield of its fruit trees, those who are sincere, submit and believe in the day of judgment.

Abraham was G-d’s friend, servant, and prophet, and Muhammad was G-d’s, servant and prophet. Abraham secured Mecca from idol worship and Muhammad secured Mecca from idol worship.

Abraham prayed to G-d to bless his seed. And God blessed Muhammad and his righteous followers.

And we pray: Oh G-d, make Muhammad successful and make the followers of Muhammad successful, as you did Abraham and the followers of Abraham. And bless Muhammad and the followers of Muhammad as you blessed Abraham and the followers of Abraham.

And G-d said: This day have I perfected for you, your religion and completed My favor on you and I've chosen for you Al-Islam as your religion.

And we pray: Oh G-d, give us the benefits of the fruits of our labor. Laboring with your word and your light. Give us the benefits of the fruits of our labor like you did those people before us, to whom You communicate Your message and Your plan for human life on earth. And bless us to establish a community that enjoins what is right and forbids what is wrong. Amin.
