Crazy Choices and Putting the Soul at Risk 30:29
Those who are the worst towards the soul, who risk exposure to the punishment, who follow the human inclination to stray from truth without awareness of the basic reality of thing... Who then has integrity of mind and faith to guide one whom Allah judges as delusional? For such there are no appointed helpers.
Allah makes clear that we put our souls at risk when our free will and choices do not reflect the internal and external guidance that Allah has given us. And, in fact, with our limited human knowledge and consciousness, taking on the challenge of guiding one who Allah has judged as off the path, even if greatly desired, is crazy!
It is crazy, delusional because there is no help but Allah, and the only guidance to rectify our course comes from the guidance from which we originally strayed.
