A Messenger of Our Own 2:151

We sent among you a Messenger of your own, rehearsing to you Our Revelations, Qur’anic verses and signs to instruct, purify and teach you Scriptural Wisdom.

Allah bestowed His complete favor upon us when He sent Prophet Muhammed with proof and evidence to awaken us. Prophet Muhammed’s mission was not to just recite the Qur’an to us without wisdom but rather to admonish and teach us the logic that would increase our faith in Allah alone and purge us of idolatry and disbelief.

Prophet Muhammed instructed and demonstrated to us the comprehensive lessons and laws that were examples to help us establish moral and ethical lives.

Without a moral foundation there is no guidance to help us grow in purity or to stand us upright in our character and behavior.
