Allah made the Ka’aba, the sacred house established for the life of humankind, and the sacred months where this is security from fighting, and the animals guided as offering with collars as markings for sacrifice.
The Ka’aba is the House established for humankind. It symbolizes the sacredness of life and the oneness of humanity. In our five daily prayers, we turn in this direction, illustrating that our orientation should be to recognize the innate oneness of all people and to secure human life. That is the essence of al-Islam.
