Life From Death and Death From Life 6:95

Allah creates life from an object that appears to be dead like a stone or seed. These objects appear to be devoid of life, but from them we get grains, like wheat, fruit like dates and many other vegetables and plants. They split open to reveal the life contained inside of them.

Man subjects himself to death when he gives into moral corruption and participates in haram or forbidden acts. This death is not a physical death but a departure from the life that Allah desires for us.

Mankind is created by Allah when the sperm and the egg are joined to form a human embryo. This embryo adheres to its mother’s womb until the moment of birth is imminent. At that time, she or he flows out into the world. This process has been repeated since the beginning of creation and man requires constant reminding to be faithful to Allah.
